Muhammad Kiandra Ramadhipa once again showcased his consistency in the Moto3 Junior World Championship 2026. Racing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia over the weekend, the PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) protege successfully maintained his top-five position in the championship despite two challenging races.
A 10th-place finish in Race 1 followed by a stronger sixth in Race 2 earned Kiandra an additional 16 points. His total now stands at 80, enough to keep him fifth in the standings. The result is particularly special given his qualifying crash, which forced him to start from 12th on the grid in the opening race.
But the biggest highlight came in Race 2. A much better start allowed the young rider to immediately fight within the leading group. He even emerged as the best Honda rider and set his first-ever fastest lap in the series with a time of 1:38.797.
“Race 1 was quite difficult because my start wasn’t great, but I kept pushing to catch the front group. In Race 2, my start was much better and I could fight in the front group. Our pace was competitive and I’m happy to have set the fastest lap. We still have some things to improve and I will keep fighting for the best results until the end of the season,” Ramadhipa said.
This performance gives him valuable momentum ahead of a busy schedule. After Valencia, Kiandra will compete in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at Misano and the Red Bull Ring, before returning to the sixth round of the Moto3 Junior World Championship at MotorLand Aragon, Spain, on 25–27 September 2026. With his speed on the rise, a podium finish in the remaining races is no longer a far-fetched goal.
