F1 to Stage Grander 2027 Season Launch in Milan

Formula 1 is set to revive its spectacular pre-season launch event, this time with an even grander scale. After the success of F1 75 Live at London's O2 Arena in 2025, the paddock will now turn its attention to Milan, Italy, for an event dubbed 'F1 The Show' scheduled for February 18, 2027. This move signals F1's commitment to making the pre-season celebration a highly anticipated annual tradition for fans worldwide.

The event, coming two years after F1 75 Live, will take place at a yet-to-be-confirmed iconic city venue. What is clear, however, is that its scale will surpass the previous edition. All 11 teams and their star drivers are expected to attend, blending with musical performances and various other attractions designed to captivate both the live audience and those watching from around the globe.

F1's decision to skip a similar event in 2026 was not without reason. That season marks a major transition with new regulations, forcing teams to undergo three separate pre-season tests. The packed calendar led F1 to prioritize technical preparations, postponing the grand launch party until 2027 with a more refined concept.

Beyond the main evening event, Milan will also host a three-day fan festival from February 18-20. This festival aims to bring the F1 atmosphere closer to the public, offering tifosi a chance to experience racing euphoria in the heart of the fashion capital. Tickets for both events will go on sale later this year, with fans able to pre-register their interest now.

Choosing Milan as host is no coincidence. The city recently witnessed extraordinary enthusiasm when Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc appeared before the public during the week leading up to the Italian Grand Prix. The massive crowds that thronged Milan's streets underscore the city's deep emotional connection to racing, especially with Ferrari as a national icon.

With a bigger concept and a more glamorous location, F1 The Show 2027 has the potential to become the most memorable season launch in the sport's history. All eyes are now on the next announcement: where exactly the event will be held and what surprises F1 has in store for its loyal fans.
