FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem is adamant that Formula 1's final two races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi will go ahead as planned as the sport finalizes its end-of-season calendar.
The situation in the Middle East had previously sparked discussions within the F1 paddock regarding potential contingency plans and whether alternative circuits like Imola might be needed to step in.
Initial paddock indicators suggested a firm decision deadline in mid-September before shifting to mid-October, though the prevailing approach has now evolved into an expectation that events will proceed unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Addressing media including The Race on Tuesday, Ben Sulayem dismissed concerns about regional security risks when evaluating the upcoming Grands Prix in the Gulf region.
Emphasizing his personal connection to the region, the FIA president noted that his own family resides in the UAE, serving as a personal testament to the perceived safety and security on the ground.
"One thing I would say: I have my children there. You think I would leave them there and I'm here now with you if it was dangerous?" Ben Sulayem stated.
He concluded by expressing full confidence in the safety arrangements for all FIA personnel, drivers, and team members traveling to the final two rounds of the championship.
