Heavy rainfall and severely limited visibility have forced championship organizers to implement emergency schedule changes at the Phillip Island circuit. The extreme weather conditions in the Australian coastal region disrupted the final day of track action.
According to FormulaPassion, the flooded track and poor aerial visibility left officials with no choice. Race direction confirmed that the medical helicopter was unable to fly safely, violating strict FIM safety protocols required to run any session for the MotoGP class.
"There is no imminent improvement in visibility forecast at the Australian GP, therefore track action will not commence before 13:00 local time," read the official statement from the event organizers regarding the paddock situation.

The direct consequence of this severe weather was the outright cancellation of the morning warm-up session. Riders such as Francesco Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, and Jorge Martin had to head straight into the grand prix without any final wet-weather data gathering.
Teams and fans remain on standby for the next official update from Race Direction regarding the revised schedule for the lower classes and the main Grand Prix event at the legendary Australian venue.
