Elfyn Evans Leads 2026 WRC Standings After WRC Finland

Elfyn Evans remains at the top of the 2026 World Rally Championship standings following WRC Finland with 201 points, although Sami Pajari's home victory has tightened the championship battle.

Sami Pajari has climbed to second on 171 points and now trails Evans by only 30. Back-to-back victories at Rally Estonia and WRC Finland have transformed the Finn into a direct contender for the world championship.

Takamoto Katsuta sits third with 160 points, 11 behind Pajari and 41 behind Evans. Oliver Solberg is close behind in fourth on 156 points, only four points away from Katsuta after finishing second at WRC Finland.

Sebastien Ogier remains fifth with 139 points after missing out on a major result in Finland following his accident while leading the rally. He is now 62 points behind Evans, leaving his championship position more difficult than that of the four Toyota drivers ahead of him.

Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team's dominance is reflected clearly in the standings, with Toyota drivers occupying all five of the leading championship positions through Evans, Pajari, Katsuta, Solberg and Ogier.

Adrien Fourmaux is the highest-placed Hyundai driver in sixth with 129 points. Thierry Neuville follows in seventh on 125, leaving the pair 72 and 76 points respectively behind championship leader Evans.

Further back, Esapekka Lappi occupies eighth with 25 points, while Hayden Paddon and Joshua McErlean are tied on 21. With Pajari only 30 points behind Evans and both Katsuta and Solberg still within range, the top four drivers are separated by just 45 points as the 2026 WRC title fight moves into its next phase.
