Academy prospect Dino Beganovic is set to make a major career step by joining Ferrari's reserve driver roster for the 2027 Formula 1 world championship season. This crucial milestone comes after years of dedication through the junior formula ladder under the watchful eye of the Maranello squad.
The Swedish-Bosnian driver has been a long-standing member of the junior program, receiving unwavering support from the Prancing Horse outfit for seven formative years. During this tenure, his notable achievements included finishing third in the Italian F4 Championship back in 2020 before claiming the prestigious FRECA title in dominant fashion in 2022.
Progressing into the FIA Formula 3 championship in 2023, he spent two consecutive seasons securing sixth place in the overall standings. His subsequent promotion to Formula 2 yielded competitive results, highlighted by seventh place in 2025 and a much stronger campaign in 2026 featuring back-to-back race victories near the front of the grid.

Despite his extensive background with the team, a full-time race seat was ultimately awarded to Rafael Camara, who secured a promotion to the Haas squad alongside another academy graduate. The decision followed the Brazilian's remarkable rookie success in the junior categories.
Nevertheless, the organization chose to retain his services full-time to support veteran Antonio Giovinazzi on the reserve bench. He will shoulder simulator responsibilities throughout grand prix weekends and remain on constant standby to step into a race cockpit if any unexpected situation arises.
