German tire manufacturer Continental has officially announced its latest product for the adventure motorcycle segment, the ContiTrailAttack 4, scheduled to hit the market in the first quarter of 2027.
As reported by Motosan.es, this new tire is designed as the successor to the previous model, bringing significant upgrades to its compound and structure to satisfy adventure riders.
During the presentation event held in Hannover, Germany, on October 27, 2026, it was revealed that the tire maintains a road-oriented philosophy with a 90 percent on-road and 10 percent off-road usage ratio.
The most prominent update lies in the full silica compound, which is claimed to enhance grip in both dry and wet conditions while accelerating tire warm-up times from the very first kilometers.
Regarding this innovation, Raphael Michels, motorcycle tire product manager at Continental, explained that the new compound is engineered to remain reliable from early morning rides through to demanding mountain routes.
Aside from the compound, the tire also incorporates MultiZoneBelt technology, which utilizes different stiffness zones to deliver high-speed straight-line stability and exceptional agility when leaning into corners.
