Circuit Paul Ricard is bracing for a grueling 24-hour battle that will crown the 2026 FIM Endurance World Champions. A massive 56-team entry list will line up at Le Castellet from September 17-20 for the 89th running of the Bol d'Or, the decisive final round of the season.
Six teams remain mathematically in contention, but three frontrunners have captured the spotlight: YART Yamaha, the points leaders aiming for back-to-back titles; BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team, seeking redemption after a heartbreaking late-race defeat last season; and Yoshimura SERT Motul, hungry to reclaim the crown after missing out by a single point in the previous campaign.
The grid is divided into four distinct classes. The premier EWC category features 17 entries, with Yamaha leading the way with six bikes, followed by BMW and Kawasaki with four each, Honda with three, and Suzuki with one. The Superstock (SST) class is the largest with 24 entries competing for Cup honours, while 13 teams will battle in Production (PRD) and two innovative prototypes in Experimental (EXP).
For YART Yamaha, consistency will be key. Riders Karel Hanika, Marvin Fritz, and Leandro Mercado must master the art of endurance racing, managing pit stops and machine reliability over the gruelling 24 hours. BMW, with Markus Reiterberger, Steven Odendaal, Michael Van Der Mark, and Jeremy Guarnoni, are determined to avoid another late-race disappointment. Yoshimura SERT Motul's trio of Gregg Black, Etienne Masson, and Dan Linfoot will be pushing hard to challenge for the win.
The SST class promises intense action with 24 teams, including Tati Team AVA6 Racing, F.C.C. TSR Honda France, and Maco Racing Team, all vying for glory. The PRD and EXP classes add a unique dimension, where innovation and durability are paramount.
