According to the official announcement, the city-centre layout will comply fully with modern safety standards required under current FIM regulations. The circuit configuration was unveiled in Adelaide by MotoGP Chief Sporting Officer Carlos Ezpeleta alongside South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas.
