MISANO – Tension in the Aprilia Racing garage is at boiling point ahead of the 2026 San Marino MotoGP main race. The fierce duel between Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi is not just a battle on track, but a status war threatening team stability.
Bezzecchi, dubbed Italy's 'Golden Boy', secured pole position at Misano Circuit, proving his raw speed. However, Martin arrives as championship leader with 263 points, 22 ahead of Bezzecchi in third (241 points).

Signs of civil war appeared in the Sprint Race. Bezzecchi finished second, refusing to yield to Martin who finished third. He wants to prove he is the boss at Noale, while Martin, with a champion's mentality, won't stay silent.

If both Aprilia RS-GP riders engage in aggressive duels again in the main race, Aprilia could face disaster. This internal conflict is a blessing for Marc Marquez, now only 14 points from the top. Without internal burdens, Marquez is ready to exploit any gap to steal victory at Misano.
Sunday's main race will be a tough test for Aprilia's management. Can they quell both riders' egos, or will they watch Marquez surge ahead?
