The intense battle for the premier class world championship has intensified significantly after Marc Marquez managed to survive a highly challenging race weekend at the Mandalika Circuit in Indonesia with crucial points in hand. The multi-time world champion successfully matched his main rival's points tally across the weekend, leaving the championship gap frozen at a razor-thin two-point margin in favor of the Noale manufacturer.
Despite successfully mitigating massive pressure during the Indonesian round, Alex Marquez warned that his brother's championship road ahead is far from easy. The Gresini Racing rider emphasized that his older brother simply survived what could have been a disastrous points loss, describing the damage-limitation exercise as a massive statement rather than an outright victory.
"Marc came out alive from what could have been a very difficult weekend," Alex Marquez stated, reflecting on the tension in Indonesia. "I wouldn't say he came out a winner, but matching points was still a great blow."

Looking ahead, the Spanish rider highlighted that the upcoming overseas rounds will present severe technical hurdles for their machinery. Based on his paddock observations, the high-speed layouts of the next few venues heavily favor the unique aerodynamic and chassis strengths of their primary championship opposition.
"Marc will have to perform magic in Australia, Qatar, and Portimao because the Aprilias will go extremely fast on those tracks," Alex added. He also anticipated that corporate intervention and team orders from Borgo Panigale will inevitably come into play as the championship reaches its boiling point.
"Team orders in Ducati? I expect them, there is still a long way to go until the end of the season, but our rivals are already speaking clearly to their riders because they want to win the world title, and Ducati will do the same," he concluded.
