He acknowledged that his rear tyre was nearly destroyed, limiting his ability to respond. «I tried to push harder, but my rear tyre was almost gone. That was the maximum.»
For Martin, the Austrian result is still valuable. «That's what we need to do every weekend for the rest of the season. The fight is hot and we want to keep it that way.» His words underline that this year's title battle is far from over.
After the race, Marc Marquez and Martin were seen congratulating Acosta. The moment was caught on camera, showcasing sportsmanship amid intense competition.
