Red Bull is reportedly set to return to the fairings of Honda HRC starting from the 2027 MotoGP season. The news has caught the paddock by surprise, especially after Jorge Martin's move to Yamaha and Monster Energy's switch to Aprilia. Speculation initially pointed to Yamaha, but recent indications suggest Red Bull has already struck a deal with Honda.

Red Bull previously enjoyed a successful partnership with Honda, particularly during Marc Marquez's tenure at Repsol Honda. Now, even without Marquez, Red Bull remains confident in Honda's project.
That confidence is not unfounded. Honda is gearing up for the 2027 technical regulations, which will bring significant changes to engines and tires. From testing sessions held in Brno and Austria, there are positive signs that Honda HRC is capable of bouncing back and becoming competitive again.
