Marco Bezzecchi

Marco Bezzecchi is an Italian MotoGP rider affectionately known by his nickname, "Bez." As one of Valentino Rossi's proudest protégés in the VR46 Riders Academy, Bez is known for his charismatic personality, flowing riding style, and his ability to be incredibly fast on tracks with low grip. After proving himself as a title contender on a satellite Ducati, he is now a key spearhead for the Aprilia factory.

Career Journey

Early Career & Moto3 Rise (2015–2018): Starting his career in the Italian national championship (CIV) and FIM CEV Moto3, Bez began to turn heads in the Moto3 World Championship in 2018. Riding a KTM for the PrüstelGP team, he secured three victories and fought fiercely for the world title, ultimately finishing third in the championship standings.

Moto2 Transition & Premier Class Promotion (2019–2022): Following a challenging adaptation period in Moto2, Bez shone once again after joining the Sky Racing Team VR46 squad. His solid performances earned him a promotion to MotoGP for the 2022 season with the Mooney VR46 Racing Team. He immediately made his mark by scoring his first podium at Assen and securing the Rookie of the Year title.

• Top-Tier Breakthrough & Title Contender (2023–2024): The 2023 season was a massive breakout year for Bezzecchi. He dominantly claimed his first premier class victory in the wet conditions of the Argentine GP, added two more main race wins, and finished the season a brilliant third in the world. In 2024, despite facing the challenge of taming the Desmosedici GP23 machine, he continued to show high determination on the track.

  The Factory Era with Aprilia (2025–Present): Desiring full factory rider status, Bez made a huge move by joining the Aprilia Racing team starting in the 2025 season to partner with Jorge Martín. Entering the 2026 season with crucial experience riding the RS-GP under his belt, Bezzecchi is determined to bring the Noale manufacturer to the very front, fighting consistently for victories.
