MotoGP, Sportrik Media - Pramac Yamaha has officially unveiled its 2026 MotoGP livery, becoming the first team on the grid to reveal its colours ahead of the new season. The launch event, held on 13 January in Siena, Italy, marks the formal start of the 2026 MotoGP pre-season as preparations intensify toward the opening round in Thailand.

The Italian outfit enters the new campaign under significant attention, not only due to being first out of the blocks visually, but also because of its evolving technical role within Yamaha’s MotoGP structure. As a fully supported satellite team, Pramac is expected to play a central part in the development phase of Yamaha’s next-generation machinery during a transitional year.

A major focal point of the 2026 project is the MotoGP debut of three-time World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu. The Turkish rider makes the long-anticipated switch to the premier class after years of speculation, joining Pramac following sustained factory backing and a strategic assessment that 2026 represents the optimal timing for his transition.

Razgatlioglu will line up alongside Jack Miller, forming a rider pairing that blends MotoGP race-winning experience with elite Superbike pedigree. Both riders will campaign Yamaha’s all-new V4-powered M1, a machine that replaces the inline-four engine configuration Yamaha had used throughout the entirety of the modern MotoGP era until the end of 2025.

The move to a V4 engine represents Yamaha’s most significant technical shift in over a decade, reshaping its approach to power delivery, aerodynamics, and overall bike balance. While the manufacturer has acknowledged that much of the 2026 season will be focused on development rather than immediate results, Pramac’s early visibility underscores its importance within Yamaha’s long-term competitive rebuild.
