The future of Opel design and the high-performance dynamics of the GSE brand are set to take center stage at Auto Zurich, scheduled to run from November 5 to 8 in Zurich, Switzerland. The German manufacturer is bringing several Swiss debuts to the event, including the STX Concept—which made its global debut in Paris—alongside the GSE 27FE racing car.
While the STX Concept previews potential developments for future station wagons, the GSE 27FE stands out as the GEN4 Formula E single-seater boasting over 800 horsepower. It fully expresses the immense capabilities and potential behind the brand's Grand Sport Electric philosophy.
Visitors heading to Hall 2 will also have the opportunity to discover the new Corsa GSE, an electric hot hatch producing 207 kW, alongside a Zafira Gaming van styled in the characteristic GSE theme. Beyond physical vehicles, multiple gaming consoles will allow attendees to play Gran Turismo 7 and virtually test the 588 kW Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo.
Additionally, the German automaker announced the inclusion of the Riders Republic videogame tailored for snowboarding enthusiasts within the exhibition space. The comprehensive lineup is rounded out by the Grandland AWD and Frontera Hybrid electric SUVs, accompanied by the new Astra Sports Tourer.
Sharing his thoughts on the brand's strong presence at the exhibition, Tobias Dilsch, Managing Director of Opel Switzerland, emphasized the dynamic emotional appeal of their modern vehicle lineup.
"Quanto possono essere dinamiche ed emozionanti le auto oggi? Vi daremo la risposta da Auto Zurich. La GSE 27FE promette presto una Formula E completamente elettrica, ad alte prestazioni ed emozionante. Ma portiamo quella emozione delle GSE sulla strada: la Mokka GSE ha tracciato la strada e ora la nuova Corsa GSE sta seguendo le sue orme.
