Formula 1, Sportrik Media - Mercedes completed the highest number of laps of any manufacturer during the first three-day F1 2026 pre-season test in Bahrain, supported by its customer teams across the grid.
Together with customer outfits McLaren, Williams, and Alpine, Mercedes-powered cars accumulated a combined 1,410 laps at the Bahrain International Circuit. That equates to an average of 235 laps per car. Williams achieved the most mileage of any single team, while Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli recorded the fewest laps among all drivers who participated in the session.
In second place, Ferrari logged 1,106 laps across its works operation and customer teams Haas and Cadillac F1 Team. The Italian manufacturer averaged 184.3 laps per car, underlining solid reliability across its customer network despite trailing Mercedes in total mileage.
Red Bull Powertrains ranked third in overall laps with 663 tours completed between the factory squad and Racing Bulls. However, based on average laps per car, Audi placed third with 172 laps per car, marginally ahead of Red Bull Powertrains’ 165.75 average despite a significantly lower total.
At the bottom of the classification was Honda, largely influenced by limited mileage from Aston Martin, which managed only 203 laps across its two cars during the test.
Below is the full breakdown of laps completed per manufacturer at the opening Bahrain 2026 pre-season test:
