The MotoGP world championship battle is heating up as Ducati star Marc Marquez delivers a thinly-veiled verdict on his main title rival, Jorge Martin. The multi-time world champion boldly asserted that truly fast riders do not rely on team orders to secure success.
This psychological warfare was clearly visible during qualifying at the Indonesian Grand Prix, where the seasoned Spaniard closely followed his rival out of the pit lane to apply immediate pressure. The calculated move successfully unsettled his opponent, allowing him to qualify ahead in fourth place.
Although the weekend ended in a points stalemate, keeping the championship gap razor-thin heading into the next round, the paddock talk quickly shifted to team tactics. When asked about the possibility of squad intervention within his own manufacturer, Marquez offered a very direct response to MotoGP's official website.

"Jika Anda memiliki kecepatan, Anda tidak membutuhkannya. Anda membutuhkannya jika Anda tidak memilikinya," he stated ahead of the Australian Grand Prix weekend.
Since returning from his physical setbacks, the iconic rider has consistently been the fastest reference for his brand, rendering internal team orders practically irrelevant. Meanwhile, rival manufacturers face complex decisions regarding squad tactics after achieving historic lockout results in previous rounds.
