Lewis Hamilton has been backed to claim a second consecutive Formula 1 victory at the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix after taking his first Ferrari win in Barcelona.
Hamilton will start third at the Red Bull Ring, behind George Russell and team-mate Charles Leclerc. Kimi Antonelli lines up alongside him on the second row, with Max Verstappen starting fifth.
In a post-qualifying RacingNews365 poll, Hamilton emerged as the strongest fan pick for victory with 44.05 percent of the vote. That total was higher than the combined support for Antonelli, Russell and Leclerc.

Extreme heat in Styria is expected to push the 71-lap race towards a two-stop strategy, although a three-stop gamble remains possible. Hamilton used a three-stop approach to win last time out in Spain.
If Hamilton converts third on the grid into victory, it would increase pressure on Mercedes in the drivers' championship fight and extend his strong recent form with Ferrari.
