Technically, Rally Portugal remains one of the toughest gravel rallies on the WRC calendar due to its abrasive roads, rapidly changing grip levels, and extreme demands placed on tyres and suspension systems.
Alongside the Rally1 category, the event also hosts rounds for WRC2, WRC3, and FIA Junior WRC.

All stages will be broadcast live through Rally.TV and official live timing services from the FIA World Rally Championship.
