Lewis Hamilton went fastest in the final free practice session for the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas, laying down a major marker ahead of qualifying.
The Briton’s blistering lap time of 1:34.893s saw him take top spot by over a tenth of a second from Max Verstappen, who slotted into second place for Red Bull.
Meanwhile, teammate Charles Leclerc—who had shown tremendous pace by topping both FP1 and FP2 on Friday—had to settle for the third-fastest time in the final practice.

Rising star Andrea Kimi Antonelli delivered an impressive performance to claim fourth position. He was followed closely by Mercedes partner George Russell in fifth, with Oscar Piastri rounding out the top six for McLaren.
The competitive running provided a thrilling preview of the battles to come on the Austin asphalt. With extremely tight margins at the top of the timesheets, teams are fine-tuning their setups for what promises to be a dramatic qualifying showdown. As reported by Motorsport Week, excitement continues to build across the paddock.
