Isack Hadjar has delivered a surprising perspective ahead of this weekend's racing action. The young driver firmly believes that Red Bull did not actually possess the fastest car on the Formula 1 grid during the Singapore Grand Prix, despite his teammate's commanding performance.
This assertion was made during the official drivers' press conference in Austin ahead of the United States Grand Prix weekend. Despite Max Verstappen cruising to victory at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Hadjar maintained that the Milton Keynes machinery remains a very difficult car to drive on the limit.
When pressed by reporters regarding the dominant margin at the checkered flag, Hadjar stood by his assessment. He boldly added, "That’s what I believe. I think if you put Max in the Ferrari, he would have won the race with more margin. So that’s my opinion.", highlighting the exceptional level of the Dutch driver.

The French-Algerian driver further explained that the victory was secured because Verstappen maximized every single advantage available rather than relying purely on inherent car pace. A crucial pole position in Q3 made all the difference, especially when Ferrari lacked fresh soft tires during the main race.
Meanwhile, McLaren driver Oscar Piastri offered a slightly different viewpoint during the press briefing, noting that Red Bull's upgrades introduced earlier in the season proved very strong, cementing their status as a consistently fast contender in recent rounds.
