Nicolo Bulega made an immediate statement in Free Practice 3 (FP3) at the French WorldSBK round in Magny-Cours. The Aruba.it Racing Ducati rider set the fastest lap, reaffirming his dominance aboard the Ducati Panigale V4 R.
Bulega enjoyed a comfortable margin over his nearest rival, Garrett Gerloff on the Kawasaki. Meanwhile, his Ducati teammate Iker Lecuona had to settle for third. The session was fiercely competitive, with many riders separated by just a few tenths.
Fierce Battle Among Ducati Riders
Ducati's dominance in FP3 was evident. Six of the top ten riders were on Panigale V4 Rs. Tommy Bridewell and Yari Montella also impressed, following Bulega's lead at the sharp end.

However, there was a surprise: Alvaro Bautista languished in twelfth. The former world champion's performance remains inconsistent, while Bulega has been sharp from the start. The pressure is clearly mounting on the Barni Spark Racing camp.
Pole Aim and Starting Momentum
This FP3 result provides valuable momentum ahead of qualifying. Bulega is clearly aiming for pole position, but with such tight gaps, anything is possible. Qualifying is set to be dramatic.
Attention also turns to Toprak Razgatlioglu, who was absent? No, he didn't appear in this FP3 result sheet. However, the fight at the front remains intense, with names like Gerloff and Lecuona ready to pounce.
