Bathurst 12 Hour Camping Sale Set for August 12

For fans dreaming of sleeping right next to the iconic Mount Panorama circuit, good news has arrived from the Bathurst 12 Hour. Remaining campsites and hospitality packages will go on sale on Wednesday, August 12, following an exclusive renewal period for existing customers.

Demand is expected to be high once again. This year, all campground spaces were completely sold out, and organizers report that renewals for the 2027 edition have already seen record uptake. Securing a spot will be tougher than ever.

Next year’s Bathurst 12 Hour is scheduled for February 11-14, with a Thursday test day serving as a warm-up before the main race weekend. Access to those private testing sessions will be restricted to campground ticket holders and accredited personnel, giving fans staying at Mount Panorama an extra day of on-track action.

Camping availability is already limited in several areas following the renewal window offered to 2026 campsite holders earlier this month. Event Director Shane Rudzis said organizers expected the remaining sites to be snapped up quickly once public sales opened.

“Camping is an iconic part of the Bathurst 12 Hour experience and demand for trackside accommodation remains exceptionally strong,” Rudzis said. “In 2027, campers will have exclusive access to the Thursday action as a way of adding even more value to their experience staying trackside. With limited camping availability across the circuit, we encourage fans to act quickly when public sales open.”

Rudzis added that corporate hospitality packages would also be available on Wednesday, offering access to premium viewing areas within the Mount Panorama pit building. “Our corporate hospitality program offers a premium way to experience world-class GT racing, whether entertaining clients, rewarding staff or enjoying the event with friends and colleagues,” he explained. “The Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour is where the world comes to race, and we can’t wait to welcome the best GT teams, drivers and manufacturers from here and abroad back to Bathurst in February 2027.”

Meanwhile, Bathurst Mayor Robert Taylor highlighted the event’s importance to the region, saying it continues to attract visitors from across Australia and overseas. “The Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour is a signature event on Bathurst’s calendar and continues to attract visitors from across Australia and around the world,” Taylor said. “Camping on Mount Panorama and experiencing the race from one of our hospitality venues are memorable experiences that combine world-class motorsport with everything our region has to offer. We look forward to welcoming drivers, teams, and fans back to Bathurst in 2027 and encourage those planning to attend to secure their place early.”

Campground sites will be available through the Bathurst 12 Hour website from August 12, with general event tickets for the 2027 race to be released at a later date. For those eager to soak in the iconic Mount Panorama atmosphere, now is the time to prepare.
