Alex Rins has faced a harrowing situation after receiving death threats from online trolls following a controversial incident involving a track marshal at the Indonesian Grand Prix.
The Spanish rider was caught on camera engaging in a heated argument with a marshal during Friday practice sessions at the circuit. The situation escalated due to a misunderstanding regarding instructions to board a scooter to return to the paddock.
As a result of his emotional reaction, which involved an inappropriate gesture toward the track official, the Yamaha rider promptly issued a public apology via his social media channels on Saturday.

However, the situation worsened significantly when he discovered a series of messages containing threats of violence and death sent by irresponsible social media users following the altercation.
This wave of digital abuse adds to a growing list of toxicity issues in motorsport, following similar incidents previously targeting top drivers and riders such as Franco Colapinto and Marc Marquez across various international racing series.
