After Ferrari dominated every practice session at the Circuit of the Americas, it was Kimi Antonelli and Mercedes who pulled off a stunning turnaround to claim pole position.
It initially looked like Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton would fight it out for the top spot, but instead, the championship leader finds themselves in the perfect position to chase the title on Sunday.
The Red Bull entries will line up directly behind Antonelli, as Max Verstappen locked in a front-row start in second place, while Isack Hadjar will lead off the second row from third.

Ferrari will be forced to launch their race from fourth and fifth. Leclerc settled for fourth place, leaving Hamilton to round out the third row in fifth position after a intensely competitive session.
Further down the order, George Russell will start from sixth place, closely followed by the two McLaren chargers with Oscar Piastri in seventh and Lando Norris in eighth.
The Racing Bulls squad endured a challenging Q3 outing. Arvid Lindblad qualified ninth but faces a grid penalty dropping him to the back, allowing Liam Lawson to inherit ninth place on the starting grid.
