Emanuele Pirro, a former Formula 1 driver and five-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner, has shared his unique insights regarding the extraordinary talent and approach of Kimi Antonelli.
According to FormulaPassion reports, Pirro—who served as a test driver for McLaren-Honda in 1988 alongside Ayrton Senna—highlighted that Antonelli's greatest asset is his rare ability to make complex racing situations look effortless.
“Antonelli makes things simple. He doesn't just simplify them: he makes them simple. It's a grammatical difference that on the track becomes abysmal,” Pirro stated during an interview with Aci Radio, explaining how the young Italian dissolves pressure, tyre degradation, and heavy traffic with natural composure.

Comparing him to legendary figures of the past, Pirro noted the contrast against Senna's intense, fire-driven mentality. While Senna treated every lap as a matter of life and death through sheer emotional tension, Antonelli displays a chillingly relaxed demeanor that radiates absolute control without needing to put on a show.
Ultimately, Emanuele Pirro believes this effortless speed serves as both a reassuring sign and a menacing reality for competitors on the grid who struggle to find that same level of innate harmony inside the cockpit.
