Formula 1's United States Grand Prix turned into a nightmare weekend for Red Bull as Max Verstappen and his teammate let loose with scathing criticism over a series of completely avoidable operational errors. These persistent issues severely handcuffed their ability to fight at the sharp end of the grid and fully exploit their true race pace in Austin.
The troubles began right from the get-go when both Verstappen and Isack Hadjar suffered poor launches from the second and third grid slots respectively. Matters were heavily compounded throughout the grueling Grand Prix by continuous radio failures that severely hindered effective communication with the pitwall during critical race-deciding moments.
Verstappen was notably incensed by the team's decision to commit to a two-stop strategy, which ultimately handed the initiative and a dominant victory to Kimi Antonelli on a singular stop. Taking to the team radio immediately after crossing the checkered flag in third place, the Dutch driver voiced his extreme frustration without holding back any punches.

"Terrible: the pace, the wrong tyre, sh** pitstop, sh** engine braking. Nothing worked," Verstappen vented over the team radio before sarcastically suggesting to reporters that the team might as well switch to sign language given how useless their current communication channels had been during the race.
Meanwhile, Isack Hadjar was equally furious after bringing his car home in sixth position, openly demanding a complete redesign of the clutch system which he described as far too fragile when dealing with high operational temperatures during a Grand Prix distance.
