George Russell delivered a masterclass in the Dutch sprint race, leading from lights to flag and finishing 1.3s clear of Charles Leclerc. The Mercedes driver secured his fourth career sprint win, sending a clear signal that he is not backing down in the title fight.
Lando Norris completed the podium in third, while Kimi Antonelli had to settle for fourth, losing three valuable points to his teammate in the championship standings. Norris pushed hard but couldn't find a way past Leclerc, whose Ferrari looked strong around Zandvoort.
The 24-lap affair was largely processional, with Russell untroubled at the front. The only real action came at the start when Oscar Piastri dropped behind Antonelli, though he managed to hold off a charging Max Verstappen to finish fifth. Verstappen took sixth, ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly, who rounded out the points.

Russell's win tightens the championship battle, putting the pressure back on the title leader. With the season far from over, momentum is clearly with the Briton, and every point now carries extra weight.
