Trackhouse team principal Davide Brivio has explicitly pointed the finger at Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin following the dramatic multi-bike collision involving Aprilia riders Marco Bezzecchi and Raul Fernandez during the Indonesian Grand Prix sprint race.
The start of the 13-lap sprint at the Mandalika circuit turned chaotic immediately as four riders went side-by-side into the opening corner fighting fiercely for the race lead. Fabio Di Giannantonio held the extreme inside line for VR46, with Marc Marquez positioned right alongside him after launching strongly from fourth place on the starting grid.
Positioned on the outside were factory Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi and pole-sitter Raul Fernandez aboard the Trackhouse Aprilia machine. As they swept through Turn 1, Fabio Di Giannantonio drifted slightly wide, forcing Marc Marquez to sit up his motorcycle which instantly triggered a chain reaction through the leading pack.

This disruption forced Marco Bezzecchi to check up as well, causing Raul Fernandez to slam straight into the rear of his stablemate's machine and wiping both riders out of contention. Trackhouse boss Davide Brivio did not hold back his frustration when assessing the aggressive overtaking attempts during the opening meters of the sprint.
Speaking to the world feed immediately after the race, Davide Brivio stated, "Jorge and Marc were extremely aggressive at the first corner. They wanted to gain as many positions as possible, and I think that was the result, coming aggressively on everyone else. I think, for the first corner, yes, but I am not surprised." FIM MotoGP stewards ultimately opted against investigating the Turn 1 incident.
