MotoGP, Sportrik Media - The top three positions in the 2026 MotoGP World Championship standings remain unchanged following the dramatic sprint race at Jerez, although significant shifts occurred behind the leaders.
Marco Bezzecchi continues to lead the standings with 81 points, followed by Jorge Martin just four points behind. Pedro Acosta retains third place, despite all three failing to score in the sprint due to incidents and challenging race conditions.
Marc Marquez’s victory in the sprint has elevated him to fourth in the standings, reducing the gap to the championship lead to 24 points. His result also allowed him to overtake Fabio di Giannantonio, who drops to fifth.

Francesco Bagnaia gained one position after a strong recovery performance, while Alex Marquez lost ground following a crash while leading in worsening weather conditions.
With 25 points still available in Sunday’s grand prix, the championship battle remains open, particularly among the top four riders who all remain within striking distance of the lead.
