McLaren has officially unveiled a bespoke livery for the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix weekend at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. This innovative visual transformation comes to life through a special partnership with primary sponsor Velo via their ongoing 'Live Your Fandom' campaign, designed to bring supporter creativity directly onto the Formula 1 grid.
Instead of opting for a standard aesthetic update, the MCL38 features an array of individual stickers and creative artwork elements submitted by real supporters. Each distinct element merges personal fandom into a unified collective design, telling a story of passion and dedication across the bodywork of the car during this crucial round of the championship.
This initiative represents another milestone in McLaren's ongoing mission to place their dedicated global fanbase, affectionately known as the Papaya Family, at the very heart of their trackside identity. By blending individual ideas into a single cohesive masterpiece, the team is celebrating supporter creativity on one of the biggest global motorsport stages available today.

Malky Brown, Global Head of Content and Partnerships at BAT, commented that every single sticker tells the original story of a real fan dream. He highlighted that true fandom is never a one-size-fits-all concept, but rather something deeply personal, creative, and completely unique to every individual supporter within the racing community.
Adding to these sentiments, Louise McEwen, Chief Marketing Officer at McLaren Racing, stated that the entire Papaya Family is united by a shared passion for the sport. This special visual presentation aims to lift team morale as the Woking squad looks to bounce back strongly on track following a challenging run of races in the constructors' standings.
