Marco Bezzecchi pulled off a solid comeback ride at Sepang following a turbulent start to secure a strong finish among the frontrunners in a chaotic wet-weather encounter.
The Malaysian round turned into a true survival and strategy test marked by the arrival of rain, an extreme circumstance where the Italian rider overcame a double scare early on at turn 12. He latched onto the rear wheel of Marc Marquez, studied his riding style, and secured a stellar result after opting against a mid-race bike swap, according to statements gathered by collaborator Manuel Pecino.
The Italian admitted that he made several initial mistakes in the trickiest sections of the Malaysian layout, struggling to keep his machine perfectly aligned on the slippery asphalt.

"Cometi un par de errores en la primera parte de la carrera; me sali de la trazada en la curva 11 y en la 12 en la misma vuelta," Bezzecchi explained, recounting how he managed to stay on two wheels despite the treacherous track conditions.
His tactical choice to shadow the leaders rather than gambling on a pit stop proved crucial, mirroring the caution learned from Jorge Martin's previous close call on the very same bumpy section of the circuit.
