Ferrari has unleashed its final aerodynamic upgrade package of the 2026 Formula 1 season at the Circuit of the Americas, as reported by Sky Sports F1 pitlane reporter Ted Kravitz. The Italian squad arrived at the United States Grand Prix with a substantial array of modifications designed to bridge the performance gap to their rivals in the closing stages of the championship.
The SF-26 features an updated board brace layout, a redesigned front floor leading edge, and further refinements to the inboard vertical and horizontal board elements. Additional reshaping has been applied to the sidepod inlet and undercut, alongside a revised diffuser engineered to extract maximum downforce efficiency from the 2026 challenger.
Ted Kravitz described the package as genuinely impressive, emphasizing that Ferrari's design office continues to deliver relentless innovations. This update represents the completion of a development path that began earlier in the year, focusing heavily on the floor and diffuser areas to unlock superior aerodynamic load.

Among the standout design elements is a novel feature dubbed the 'snowplough', an extra claw-like device designed to scoop up airflow and direct it underneath the floor. Combined with a larger diffuser volume, the team hopes this setup will yield higher and more efficient downforce during race weekends.
Despite the technical optimism in the garage, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton offered cautious assessments ahead of the track action. Hamilton noted that the marginal gain would not single-handedly overturn their deficit, yet the team remains hopeful that the new parts will elevate their competitive edge on race day.
