The French-based squad, affiliated with Hyundai, delivered a stunning performance in a tense Hyperpole session to outpace established manufacturers in the Hypercar class.
The team's #17 car clocked a sensational lap time of 1:30.166 around the Catalan asphalt. This blistering pace proved to be nearly two tenths of a second faster than their closest challenger, the #7 Toyota entry, which had to settle for second place on the grid after pushing hard to close the gap in the final sector.
