The elusive first victory of the year finally materialized during the eleventh round in Hungary, where the championship leader triumphed brilliantly, quickly repeating the stellar feat at the subsequent race weekend in Zandvoort.
Speaking in the paddock ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, the driver proudly sporting the number one on his car offered a candid assessment of his current machinery. He made no secret of the fact that handling the car has proven to be an ongoing battle throughout the entire calendar, requiring immense physical and mental effort during high-speed corners.
