Veda Ega Pratama recorded an impressive result during the Moto3 practice session at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit on Friday (30/10/2026). Riding for Honda Team Asia, the young rider successfully claimed third position in the combined timesheets.
Securing this top-three spot guarantees Veda Ega Pratama a direct ticket to Qualifying 2 (Q2). Based on championship regulations, only the 14 fastest riders from the practice sessions advance directly to the pole position shootout without having to go through Qualifying 1 (Q1).

Throughout the intense practice session, the talented rider demonstrated mature performance consistency. After spending the early part of the session outside the top ten, he gradually improved his lap times through bike set-up evaluations with the team's technicians to break into the competitive window.

Approaching the final minutes of the session as competition at the front heated up, the Indonesian rider effectively responded to pressure from his main rivals. His optimal lap time placed him right behind David Almansa, who finished as the fastest rider, and Rico Salmela in second place.
This positive result at Sepang serves as a crucial asset for tackling the fierce Moto3 class competition this weekend. The technical crew is now focused on reviewing telemetry data to maximize the bike's potential ahead of tomorrow's official qualifying sessions.
