Three-time WorldSBK champion Toprak Razgatlioglu has broken his silence regarding his recovery process after being forced to cut short his rookie MotoGP campaign due to a severe injury.

The Turkish rider suffered a violent high-side crash during practice at the Indonesian Grand Prix in early October, losing the front end and running wide onto the dirty asphalt at turn 13 of the Mandalika circuit.

Although he managed to complete qualifying sessions, the physical toll on his shoulder forced him to withdraw from the main race and prematurely conclude his season for the first time in his professional racing career.

Having traveled back to Europe immediately following the incident, he successfully underwent shoulder surgery to address the structural damage and has already commenced structured physical therapy and training regimens.

While watching upcoming Grands Prix from television remains an unusual experience, his primary focus is returning to peak physical fitness as soon as possible. Meanwhile, test rider Augusto Fernandez continues to pilot the Yamaha machine for the remainder of the season.
