MP Motorsport Confirms Three-Driver Line-up for Upcoming FIA F3 Season

Looking ahead to the fiercely competitive junior single-seater landscape, MP Motorsport has officially announced its ambitious three-driver line-up for the upcoming FIA Formula 3 championship. The Dutch squad has secured the talents of Newman Chi, Matteo De Palo, and Maciej Gladysz to pilot their machines for the new campaign.

Newman Chi, who carries the backing of the Aston Martin young driver programme, brings valuable experience after competing extensively in the Formula Regional European Championship with the team. The Chinese prospect finished eighth in the overall standings this year, highlighted by three impressive fourth-place finishes.

Chi expressed high optimism regarding his continuation within the familiar team structure. "We have gelled really well in the FREC this season, so my confidence is high for a repeat in F3," Chi stated, emphasizing the team's strong late-season form as a major motivation for his upcoming campaign.

Meanwhile, the second seat goes to McLaren junior driver Matteo De Palo. The Italian youngster joins the Dutch outfit after gaining valuable mileage in his debut year, aiming to integrate his driving style seamlessly into the team's engineering philosophy.

De Palo highlighted the unique environment within his new racing family. "It’s a Dutch team, but with an Italian flavour on the engineering side - I like that! The team is renowned for their welcoming atmosphere, so I’m sure I will feel right at home from the start," said De Palo regarding his switch.

Completing the formidable trio is Polish racer Maciej Gladysz, who boasts a proven track record having previously risen through MP Motorsport's junior formulae ranks. This strategic driver pairing places the team in a strong position to fight at the sharp end of the grid next season.
