Threats from the Midfield
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri remain serious threats for McLaren, sitting fifth and eighth respectively. Arvid Lindblad, meanwhile, turned heads by placing his Racing Bulls machine seventh, just half a second behind teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who struggled down in 15th.
Elsewhere, Audi's upward trend continued as Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto held 11th and 13th. Fernando Alonso, however, languished in 19th with Aston Martin, underlining a mountain of work ahead of qualifying.
