McLaren Racing has announced a major multi-year partnership with global sportswear company Puma, which will see the brand become the official kit partner across the entire McLaren Racing organisation from the 2026 season onward.

Under the new agreement, Puma will design and supply official teamwear not only for the Formula 1 operation, but for every racing programme operating under the McLaren Racing umbrella, marking one of the most expansive apparel partnerships in modern motorsport.

The deal covers the McLaren Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, both McLaren Racing entries in F1 Academy, the McLaren F1 Sim Racing Team, and from 2027, the McLaren United AS Hypercar project competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The partnership signals a significant shift in McLaren’s commercial and brand strategy, aligning the team with one of the most influential sportswear brands in global motorsport and lifestyle culture.

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown highlighted the timing and relevance of the collaboration as Formula 1 continues to expand its worldwide audience.

“Our sport is in incredible shape, and it’s been fantastic to see an influx of major fashion and lifestyle brands looking for deep and meaningful ways to engage with our growing global fanbase,” Brown said.

“I cannot think of a better partner than sportswear giant PUMA to help us supercharge our portfolio of fan wear. We know fans want to express their passion for our sport both at and away from the track.”

Brown added that Puma’s design-led and culture-driven approach will allow McLaren to offer products that resonate far beyond the paddock.

“PUMA’s innovative approach to design and culture will deliver exciting collections and experiences worldwide,” he added.

As part of the agreement, Puma will launch an official Replica Collection, mirroring the apparel worn by McLaren drivers and team members during race weekends. In addition, a dedicated Lifestyle Collection will be introduced, aimed at fans seeking everyday wear inspired by McLaren’s racing identity.

From Puma’s perspective, the deal represents a strategic expansion of its motorsport portfolio. Puma CEO Arthur Höeld described the partnership as a natural continuation of the brand’s long-standing presence in racing.

“At PUMA, we are very proud of our long and successful history in motorsports and of having worked with some of the greatest drivers and teams over the past decades,” Höeld said.

“It is a great honour to write the next chapter by welcoming McLaren Racing—the 2025 Constructors’ and Drivers’ Champions—as our new partners.”

Höeld also underlined the shared ambition to connect more deeply with fans through product and storytelling.

“We are looking forward to many successful races together and engaging with the team’s passionate fans around the world to create inspiring collections that show the best both brands have to offer,” he concluded.

The partnership marks the beginning of a new visual and commercial era for McLaren Racing, with Puma set to play a central role in shaping how the team is represented on and off the track from 2026 onward.
