Marc Marquez was handed a one-position penalty after MotoGP Stewards ruled that the Ducati Lenovo Team rider exceeded track limits on the final lap of the 2026 Dutch MotoGP at TT Circuit Assen.
According to the official stewards' notification, Marquez breached track limits at Turn 13 on the final lap. Under MotoGP regulations, the infringement resulted in an automatic one-position demotion in the final classification.
The decision altered Marquez's finishing position after the chequered flag, with the stewards applying the standard track limits penalty in accordance with the championship sporting regulations.

Sportrik Media will update the official race classification and championship standings once MotoGP publishes the confirmed final results.
