The final practice session of the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit delivered high drama as Kimi Antonelli stormed to the top of the timesheets. The youngster laid down a stellar lap on Saturday morning, proving that Mercedes executed a brilliant overnight turnaround after Friday's mixed fortunes.
Antonelli's stunning pace disrupted the established order, leaving Max Verstappen to settle for second place for Red Bull Racing. Impressively, rookie teammate Isack Hajdar muscled his way into third to cap off a very encouraging morning for the Milton Keynes squad.
Further down the order, George Russell slotted into fourth ahead of Charles Leclerc who carried Ferrari's main challenge in fifth. Lewis Hamilton overcame a delayed exit from the pit lane to secure sixth, keeping the McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri at bay during crucial qualifying simulations.

Franco Colapinto emerged as the leading Alpine in ninth, rounding out a packed top ten before the decisive qualifying hour. With margins razor-thin across the grid, the battle for pole position promises absolute chaos on track.
