The MotoGP paddock is closely monitoring the physical condition of Jorge Martin as he faces a daunting challenge ahead of the crucial round at the Lusail International Circuit, Qatar. The Aprilia Racing rider admits that his right wrist recovery is only at about 50 percent, a slight improvement from the 20 percent state that forced him to abort his comeback attempt in Sepang. For Martin, this weekend is not just a race; it is a desperate fight to keep his world championship hopes alive.
"I have to undergo a final medical review before the first free practice session begins. Although my bone has not fully fused, I will try to maximize my riding capacity to secure crucial points," Martin stated in an interview. The pressure is mounting as his main rival, Marc Marquez, now holds firm control over the championship standings. Martin needs at least eight points in Qatar to ensure the title battle remains alive until the next round in Portimao.
Meanwhile, the Aprilia garage is also pinning its hopes on Marco Bezzecchi. Although he trails significantly in the standings, Bezzecchi is committed to being competitive on a track where the Ducati bikes dominated last season. The Noale-based team's engineers are working tirelessly, analyzing telemetry data to find a solution to the speed of the Ducati machines ridden by Marquez, which have proven difficult to beat across various track conditions so far.

The Lusail circuit always delivers drama under the floodlights, and with Martin's less-than-ideal physical condition, tire management and energy conservation will be key. Racing fans are eager to see if the Spaniard's determination can stall Marquez's momentum, or if the championship leader will instead clinch the title under the Qatari night sky.
