Isack Hadjar was frustrated in Austin

Isack Hadjar has faced severe criticism following his explosive radio outburst against his Red Bull Formula 1 team during the United States Grand Prix weekend in Austin. The 22-year-old Frenchman let his frustrations boil over after encountering a string of frustrating technical issues throughout the event at the Circuit of the Americas.

Having successfully recovered from what he previously branded a disaster of a weekend to secure a strong third-place grid spot on the second row, Hadjar immediately lost valuable positions off the line following a poor start when the lights went out. The rookie aired his grievances over the team radio, directly blaming Red Bull's clutch for ruining his race as he ultimately crossed the finish line in sixth place.

Adding salt to the wound, Hadjar also struggled with persistent radio malfunctions that severely hindered communication with his pit wall engineers. Consequently, the young driver rejoined the racing surface using the wrong engine map following his routine pit stop, compounding an already difficult afternoon on the track.

Speaking to the media after the chequered flag, Hadjar expressed utter exasperation, stating that he executed every procedure perfectly only to be let down by clutch issues completely out of his control. His demands for the team to completely redesign the fragile clutch system quickly drew sharp attention from the paddock.

Those fiery remarks did not sit well with former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher, who stated on the Backstage Boxengasse podcast that the Red Bull youngster should consider himself fortunate that Dr. Helmut Marko is no longer part of the team management to keep him in line.
