The Sprint race at Sepang Circuit was marred by unexpected drama involving Jack Miller. The Australian rider's bold decision to dive into the pitlane early turned into utter frustration when his secondary machine was completely unready for action.
As light raindrops began falling on the asphalt during the opening laps, race control waved the white flag, permitting riders to pit and switch to wet-weather bikes. Miller, who was struggling down in 17th position, chose to gamble on an early swap to salvage his afternoon.
However, upon arriving at the pit box, the veteran rider was greeted by a stationary and unprepared motorcycle. The resulting delay triggered an immediate outburst directed at crew chief Giacomo Guidotti, captured live by television cameras as the rider aggressively gestured in deep anger.

Speaking to media outlets after the session, Miller elaborated on the severe communication breakdown that derailed his race strategy. Today we looked like absolute fools, the rider confessed while detailing the chaotic moments inside the garage.
I came in too early and they screwed me over, Miller stated bluntly regarding his controversial entry. He argued that approaching rain drops across multiple corners justified the gamble, but a failure in team execution ultimately ruined any chance of a recovery.
