An extraordinary moment of pure adrenaline unfolded as Diogo Moreira delivered a breathtaking save during the high-stakes Practice session at the Sepang circuit for the 2026 MotoGP World Championship. The rookie rider managed to keep his Honda machine upright amidst a frantic time-attack run.
The near-crash occurred in one of the circuit's most demanding corners as the young talent pushed the absolute limits of his machinery to secure a direct spot in Q2. Although the lap was compromised, the Brazilian rider remained upbeat about his overall pace and ongoing adaptation to the premier class.

Reflecting on the heart-stopping incident, the rookie admitted that the maneuver caught him completely by surprise while he was flying through the final sector of the track.
Asi que estuvo bien," he added.
Moreira also expressed growing confidence with his current bike setup, noting that improvements made since the opening practice session have made the motorcycle significantly easier and more intuitive to ride.
Addressing track conditions, Moreira pointed out that the asphalt in Sepang has deteriorated noticeably since the pre-season tests, posing potential challenges for slipstreaming and close-quarter racing during Sunday's Grand Prix.
As reported by Motosan.es, the spectacular video footage of the save quickly captured global attention across motorsport platforms, providing valuable data for the team ahead of the qualifying sessions.
