David Alonso claimed victory in the 2026 Dutch Moto2 Grand Prix at TT Circuit Assen on Sunday. The CFMOTO Azul Marino Aspar Team rider completed the race in 35 minutes 33.175 seconds after holding off a fierce challenge in the closing stages.
Manuel Gonzalez finished just 0.024 seconds behind Alonso to secure second place, while Senna Agius completed the podium a further 0.234 seconds adrift. Izan Guevara and Ivan Ortola rounded out the top five after a competitive contest throughout the race.
Daniel Holgado crossed the line in sixth ahead of Adrian Huertas, Filip Salac, Collin Veijer and Alberto Ferrandez, who completed the top ten. The leading group remained closely matched for much of the race before Alonso successfully defended his advantage over the final laps.

The race also featured several retirements. Daniel Munoz and Celestino Vietti both failed to finish after completing two laps, while Deniz Oncu retired with only a few laps remaining and was not classified.
The victory delivers another important result for CFMOTO Azul Marino Aspar Team in the 2026 Moto2 World Championship and strengthens David Alonso's momentum heading into the next round of the season.
