TO NEWS OVERVIEW
Audi has appointed a new CEO

As their debut Formula 1 season comes to a close, the Audi F1 project has officially announced the appointment of Thomas Fuhr as their new Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1. This strategic leadership change arrives as the team prepares to navigate its very first winter break as a fully-fledged F1 constructor on the grid.

Thomas Fuhr brings over 30 years of extensive engineering and high-level leadership experience to the organization. His impressive background includes serving as the Managing Director of Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains between 2009 and 2012, providing him with deep insights into top-tier motorsport engineering and hybrid power unit operations.

This structural adjustment allows Stefan Dreyer, Audi's Formula Racing Chief Technology Officer, to direct his complete focus toward advanced power unit development. Meanwhile, Christian Foyer will continue in his vital role as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the team's day-to-day operations at their state-of-the-art headquarters in Neuburg.
