AU4 champion Marold is set to take a major step toward his European racing career by completing a testing program with US Racing at Imola this November. The young charger will initially accompany the team to the final round of the Italian F4 Championship at Mugello this weekend, followed by a full seat-fitting and simulator training program in early November.
The official two-day test is scheduled to take place at Imola on November 13 and 14. Based in Germany, US Racing was founded by former Mercedes DTM program head Gerhard Ungar and multiple F1 grand prix winner Ralf Schumacher, the brother of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher. The squad boasts a phenomenal reputation for developing elite motorsport talent.
This incredible opportunity comes after Marold secured the AU4 title at Queensland Raceway following a thrilling title fight against New Zealand standout Marco Manson. Marold ultimately clinched the championship crown by just six points after converting a lights-to-flag victory in the season finale.

"I am super stoked to be given this incredible opportunity to go test with one of Europe’s best Formula 4 teams," Marold stated. He expressed that racing in Europe has been a lifelong dream since his go-karting days, and driving at a historically rich venue like Imola is an absolute honor as he prepares to measure his pace against Europe's finest up-and-coming talents.
Should Marold secure a full-time drive with the outfit, he will join an illustrious list of alumni that includes F1 star Ollie Bearman, Williams junior Luke Browning, and Alpine junior Alex Dunne. The Italian F4 series remains one of the fiercest junior single-seater championships globally, having previously launched the careers of drivers like Lando Norris, Kimi Antonelli, and Arvid Lindblad.
